GNA Group are looking for a Document Controller to work for a well-established construction fit out firm based in Southwark, Central London (Must have experience in Viewpoint, 4Projects)
- Administer, action and monitor the project quality control plan in coordination with the Project Manager, Project Engineers and Client’s requirements.
- Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports.
- Review submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary.
- Maintain continuous presence at the site during progress of the work.
- Provide written QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confronts non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner.
- Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project.
- Perform any necessary project inspections needed for compliance with the construction contract.
- Conduct periodic follow up inspections to verify that work is proceeding with the contract documents and the approved submittals.
- Document and distribute QA punch lists and the completion of these lists.
- Document final inspections, certificates of occupancy and acceptance of the works and various phases.
- Responsible for maintaining QA procedures on site and keeping all relevant records, files and reports for inspections
- Assisting individuals on site in respect of QA procedures that were set up and are to be followed, monitoring their work and bring up the standards where necessary.
- Attend preconstruction meetings where required and assist QA Manager with all Quality Issues. Document these meetings in QC report.
- Assist Project Team with any QA question
- Maintain continuous reporting to QA Manager and Project Manager
- Assist with relevant Project needs where necessary

Full time permanent position

Starting salary - £40,000
