Due to the transport function at our Currys site in Newark recently transferring to GXO, we are looking to hire a HR Advisor to support this area. You will provide timely, effective, and comprehensive support to line managers in all aspects of Human Resources, with a particular focus on ER and Employee Engagement.

The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You would be working predominantly Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00, however occasionally we may need some flexibilitythis is Logistics after all.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Provide quality advice and consultancy support to line managers on employee relations, including managing discipline and grievance matters and end to end support of the absence management process, driving improvements
- Taking a lead on employee engagement for the wider campus, driving engagement events and activities, communications and employee surveys
- Proactively monitor and provide the HR Manager with management information relating to HR matters, such as HR statistics for employee headcount turnover and absence
- Support the agreed people development strategy which delivers business objectives, supporting manager training modules and other training initiatives

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous experience in a similar capacity, advising and supporting ER case management up to dismissal
- Experience in a Transport or Logistics environment would be great
- Good knowledge of employment law, HR policy, practice, employee relations and change management approaches
- CIPD Level 5 qualified/part qualified or studying towards
