This flourishing team provides support for older people in their own homes with an acute mental health problem or dementia. The team embraces a full MDT approach and promotes the principles of service user and carer involvement in their care.

The service provides comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment for older adults in the Bassetlaw area. The Team Leader will be expected to manage the staff within the service providing supervision and clinical support with complex cases and will work closely with the Service Manager in ensuring safe, effective and timely mental health care for the older population in the area it serves.

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing day to day leadership, management, and clinical support to the team to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered. You will be expected to be a visible, fully engaged leader who promotes quality care within your team. Responsibilities of the job include:

- Ability to understand and promote a person centred and needs led approach to deliver a quality service which fully complies with the Trust philosophy, values, policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders i.e. Adult Social Care & Health, CCG’s etc
- Effective management of the team budget and resources
- To take an active role in oversight and management of staff rosters, ensuring safe staffing
- Complete regular staff supervisions and appraisals
- Complete team recruitment in a timely manner
- Have full oversight and responsibility for Team health & safety issues
- Be fully engaged in community transformation projects and manage the associated challenges effectively
- Be confident in overseeing key performance indicators, ensuring that all targets are met in a timely manner

You must have an RMN, OT or social work qualification with a professional registration.

A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
