Our client is looking for a Communications Specialist Interim on a 6-month contract basis, located in Aberdeen.

**ROLE**

You will be working within the team responsible for the implementation of internal and external communications strategy in line with operational objectives and communications processes, ensuring messaging and activities are consistent and engaging.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

In support of internal communications:

- Implementation of the internal communications annual plan, aligned with the business
- Coordination and engagement with management and HR to drive internal communications messaging
- Brand management - ensures communications activities consistently adhere to employer brand guidelines
- Support leadership team in preparation of internal and external high-level presentation material and content

In support of external communications:

- Management and effective communication of, and compliance to, brand guidelines
- Implement marketing plans to achieve our growth ambitions, in line with company strategy
- Responsible for producing and editing publications
- Work with Sales team to bring new materials to production
- Event management of participation at selected conferences/events
- Responsible for day-to-day management and development of social media channels and website
- Create and maintain inventory of on and offline branded materials

And in other areas:

- Business improvement projects that evolve the Communications teams ways of working and / or support the business
- Provide communications advice and support to Seaway7 functions including guidance, development of materials and campaigns
- Occasional travel may be required

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Being creative, autonomous, flexible and adaptable to suit nature of working in communications environment
- Self-motivated individual capable of working under own direction
- Ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences
- Strong planning skills are critical to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent projects
- Demonstratable track record of successful project delivery, on time and to budget
- Minimum Bachelor level of education (preferably Communication or Marketing)
- Experience of working in a large multinational company

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
