**Project Manager | Derbyshire | Home Based | £35,000-£50,000 per annum + Bonus, Car/Car Allowance **The Talent Crowd are working with the leading, and fastest growing Fire & Security company in the UK.
Their client base is ever-growing and for this purpose they are looking to appoint an additional Fire & Security Project Manager to ensure that all installations are delivered within budget on time and in line with customer quality expectations.
This is home based position. However, projects teams are based in Risley, Derbyshire, so there will be an occasional need to be office based with the team, with additional trips to the Manchester Head Office from time to time, and infrequent site visits.
**Duties of the Project Manager will include**:
The purpose of this role will primarily be to ensure all projects are delivered technically compliant, in budget and on time, whilst reviewing contract files for technical and contractual accuracy.
- Provide monthly work bank forecast working to achieve monthly budget
- Selection and monitoring of sub-contract labour, direct resource, and suppliers
- Liaising with client and engineers and sub-contractors for planning in work
- To attend site meetings and regional offices when required
- Any other management duties commensurate with your skills and experience
- To ensure Health and Safety Compliance - completing toolbox talks, Health and Safety audits (PPE, ladder, vehicle etc.), reporting accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences
- To ensure Environmental Compliance - safe disposal of waste (ionised detectors/WEEE etc.), returns of waste transfer and consignment notes and to ensure all operatives carry the waste transfer certificate
- To ensure regular compliance checks for NSI Audits in line with company procedures
The ideal Project Manager will have come from a Fire & Security background, and you will have ample experience managing Fire & Security projects and contracts.
**Key experience and requirements of the Project Manager**:
- Highly qualified, skilled, and experienced Fire & Security Engineering background
- Knowledge of Fire detection and related systems: BS 5839 - FIA Experience in a similar management role
- Project Management experience
- Excellent management and computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Customer focused with the ability to resolve customer queries
- Be capable of working effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment
- Professional with excellent communication, admin, and people skills
- Strong organisational stills
- The ability to handle multiple priorities with a structured approach
- Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic
- The ability to work independently and desire to learn
**Salary and benefits will include**:
