Please note we are recruiting on a permanent basis.Purpose of the jobNUVIA UK is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join us on a permanent basis. As the Project Manager you will: Provide leadership, direction and strategy at a competent level on one or a number of multi-disciplinary teams. Delivering projects such that the customer's requirements are delivered and NUVIA's performance and profit margins are met. Manage project start up and delivery and to meet time cost, quality, safety requirements and manage risk.Reports to:Head of PMOProject Manager key accountabilities:Delivery accountability.Accountable for all aspects of project delivery including definition, design, procurement, manufacture, construction and commissioning.Accountable for project financial performance.Accountable for the successful delivery of the project in accordance with the PMP.Management of project scope and any deviation from that agreed scope.Arranges and holds Inaugural Contract Review meeting and receives tender file.Set up project team, obtain resources, mobilise, define roles and responsibilities.Establishes effective communicates with all project stakeholders, internal and external, especially client representative.Develops, agrees with the Sponsor and communicates the Project Management Plan.Prepares a project delivery strategy, procurement Strategy and Safety Plan.Establishes schedule, Budgets and sets up project cost control.Manage production of enquiry specifications in accordance with delivery and procurement strategies.Monitor, Control, report, Project Costs, Resources (internal and external), Schedule and scope.Supervise Project Teams to achieve project Safety, Quality andDelivery Strategy requirements.Assess and Mitigate Project Risks.Tendering and proposal development.Project Manager profile requirements:A qualification within either an engineering or related field.Project Management related qualification.8+ years of experience in Project Management related roles.Previous project experience in defence, nuclear, maritime or naval is essential.Safety case experience is preferred.Demonstrable experience in engineering project delivery.Demonstrate competent professional standards of behaviour and compliance with legal and technical requirements.Commercial awareness and the ability to negotiate with Clients and improve NUVIA's commercial position within contracts.Able to deliver project management expertise, leadership, problem solving and conflict management skills to a competent level.Why us?Employee Benefits Package:8.5% Pension Contribution & Life AssurancePrivate Medical Scheme*Employee Share SchemeSalary Sacrifice Schemes: Electrical Vehicles, Technology and Cycle to Work18 Weeks Full Maternity Pay* (+21w SMP)25 days holiday (increasing to 28 days after 5 years' service, 31 days after 10 years' service)Option to buy, sell and carry over up to 5 days annual leave per yearIn partnership with trade unionsPersonal Development & Further Education SupportLong Service & Recognition AwardsFree Employee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible hybrid & agile working*After 1 year of service.NUVIA UK - a subsidiary of VINCI construction - is an international company that operates across highly regulated sectors including Civil Nuclear and has a strong presence and history of delivery at nuclear sites in the UK and internationally.NUVIA UK is a performance-driven company that is committed to the development of its people within a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.
