**Job Description**:
Temporary Administrator in Crewing HR - 2 months+ £11.79/hr + Holiday pay - Hybrid or Remote
Do you have HR Administration experience with immediate availability for a minimum 2 month period?
Our client is seeking a Crewing assistant for a temporary period of time. The purpose of the role is to:
Join their team to assist the crewing team with administration and compliance requirements and support the wider crewing function. Previous experience is desirable, although not essential.
People
- To verify that Crew locations are correctly entered and up to date in database to ensure timely payment of the sea staff’s salary prior payroll monthly cut-off dates- Liaison with external parties such as port and recruitment agents for marine personnel related operational matters.- Monitor the appraisal/assessment of marine personnel performance- Responsibility for a small number of vesselsShareholders
- Ensure correct certification and documentation in place with manning agents- Administer and update of Shipmate/AMOs/SIRE systems as per our procedures.Ideally
- Previous experience working within seagoing HR team for a ship management company.- Working flag requirements and other statutory requirements for seafarers would be desirable- Shipping HR related legislation; STCW, MLC. experience in a marine environment.However due to the temporary nature of this role I am looking for someone with HR Experience who understands WTR and administration the rest can be learnt
