**The Role**
Due to an expansion of the team, we’re seeking an Estates Officer to help deliver a high-quality estate management services to our customers to ensure their property is one they’re proud to call home.

This role will cover a property portfolio of circa 2000 properties in Coventry, Nuneaton, Atherstone, Rugby and Hinckley. You will also be required to cover for other areas such as Birmingham Northampton and Leicestershire, so you must demonstrate your ability to travel over a wide geography.

Your role will be to deliver a high-quality estate management service that reduces the risk of harm to residents, damage to our assets and tenancy failure, through professional and timely interventions.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- Oversee the management of all communal and non-communal spaces with a focus on safety and contractor performance.
- Proactively manage abandoned properties and, tenancy terminations ensuring properties are recovered in a timely manner and any costs associated with waste removal, damage, neglect, arrears and void loss, are kept to a minimum
- Address concerns associated with pests and vermin, and oversee Health and Safety functions such as managing building emergency response plans and addressing fire risk actions.
- Form effective relationships with customers to maximise the duration of their tenancy from sign-up to termination.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners, to address neighbourhood issues and improve the environment.
