**Job Title**: Lead Developer
**Location**: Derby HQ.. but hybrid working available (Flexible)
**Salary**: £40,000 - £55,000

We are looking for an experienced Developer, skilled in PHP and Laravel to join a long-standing worldwide organisation within the transportation industry, more specifically Air Cargo. They have over 24 offices spread over 5 continents including places suchas Singapore, Vietnam, Brazil and the Middle East, and a history of over 25 years.
They provide GSSA (General Sales & Service Agents), Solutions, Aircraft and Cargo handling, plus certified training to their clients, supported by their Software Development team, plus their centralised administration and a dedicated business process team.

The role is ideal for someone with expertise in developing software solutions, managing a team of developers (or looking to take that step) and leading projects. You'll show enthusiasm for technologies, bring ideas, excellent communication and collaborationskills, as well as the adaptation to changing priorities and always looking for ways to improve processes and workflows.
- Excellent knowledge of software development and programming languages (PHP, Laravel)
- Experience in developing software solutions
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
