My client is an Engineering company based in the Newton Aycliffe area who are looking to expand their team due to an increase in orders
**Main Duties**:
- Buy materials & supplies
- Preparing delivery notes for goods-out
- Sales order processing and purchase order processing
- Planning & organising materials for work on factory floor
- Managing stock levels, and scheduling & timing delivery of materials
- Responsible for quality management of materials
- Liaising with co-workers, customers, and suppliers
- Comparing prices and collating quotes
- Making and answering telephones in an efficient and effective manner
- Entering information onto the computer and keeping up to date accurate records
- Other general office duties, including preparing, typing, sending and follow up quotations
**Role Requirements**:
- Experience in a similar role, engineering background preferred
- Clear communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience of working with Excel (including formulas)
