**Job Description**:
Verisk 3E is looking for an experienced SDS Authoring Specialist to join our global Authoring team. This roles can be based remotely from the UK, Germany or Denmark.
- Utilize chemical expertise to create chemical compositions based on chemical ingredients and analyze chemical compositions to determine final product compositions.
- Author complex SDSs using an SDS authoring platform or other means without supervision in more than one region.
- Mentor SDS authors providing improvement plans, quality management processes around authoring, guidance and support in their learning phase.
- Work to improve existing processes and develop new processes to author SDS
- Advanced classification skills under at least 4 classification criteria (i.e. UN Purple book, US OSHA, EU CLP, Canadian WHMIS)
- Provide forecast information for responsible clients to supervisor
- Obtain a good understanding of the financial, business, and other drivers associated with managed services business models.
- Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
- Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in science related field required; Master’s Degree in science related field preferred
- 7+ years experience.
- Expert knowledge of authoring regulations in more than one region (i.e. US OSHA, Canadian WHMIS, EU CLP/REACH)
- Advanced skills in more than one SDS authoring platforms (i.e. SAP, WERCS, MSDgen, ProSteward)
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Certification in more than one transportation regulation
- Excellent analytical, deductive reasoning and written communication skills
