**The role will be based in London E3 2TB**.

**Role Responsibility**:
The **Logistics Coordinator **effectively manages the internal and external vehicle and plant movements across the business.

The role will involve operating a centralised transport function for the business, ensuring that all requests are dealt with in the most operational end environmentally friendly method possible, to minimise vehicle movements and any potential downtime on our operational sites across London’s highways network.

This will include managing the importing of goods from overseas, transferring of stock between depots and sites, as well as loose material movements for re-processing, raising of Purchase Orders (where applicable) and, allocating internal assets to the correct projects using the Company’s IT platform and managing the costs for the respective resources, in the most economically advantageous way for the Company.

Ensuring department compliance with the purchase ordering and goods received process to ensure accurate cost data and accruals.

Production of internal and external usage reports and close monitoring of utilisation (key measure).

Contributing to the success of the Transport department, supporting the material procurement process as required.
- Logistics Coordinating
- Plant & Transport
- Monitoring deliveries and driver workloads and liaising with delivery teams to resolve issues
- Coordinating fleet of internal grab lorries to maximise their outputs and decrease the need to hire from third parties
- Correct allocation of costs to projects to ensure accurate cost reporting
- Procurement of external transport in-line with agreed supplier arrangements
