Hunter Mental Health have been ask to support a fantastic Substance Misuse team for a Band 6 community psychiatric nurse in a North London based service. This is a large, diverse mental health trust who are well regardedfor providing local and nationalservices. They strategise to make a real difference to all they care for striving for excellence in every area of mental health and wellbeing.
Experience in a community team is desired however not required as the service would be open to those who are keen on the setting and show a desire to learn in a new area.
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am till 5pm. There currently is no weekend working opportunities however this may be possible with ongoing developments to the service. Within the service there is a support team of other Community PsychiatricNurses, OT’s and Psychiatrists, along with the supervision of the Team Lead.
The role will also require you to visit patients in their homes so you will need to be a driver or arrange for suitable transportation.
