**German Speaking - Aftersales Technical Expert (EU)
Location**:Field UK/Germany/EU - based
**Shift**: Days - 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a German Speaking - Aftersales Technical Expert for a specialist Electric Vehicle company, based in the Midlands. This role either be UK or Germany based and is a permanent opportunity.

**The duties and responsibilities of the Aftersales Technical Expert (EU):
1st line support for Dealer Network on technical issues
Technical response to dealer (via web app)
Mobile diagnostic support
Mobile Dealer Systems support
Remote diagnostic tool operation by TeamViewer
Additional technician support (training) 1-1
Inspection of Authorised Repair outlets (to Aftersales standards)
Issue and monitoring of Authorised Repairer action plans to improve standards
Office/home based with semi-regular Dealer visits
Assess warranty repairs in market and update/approve on Warranty System
Data analysis from Aftersales IT systems
Support for verification/validation, in-market testing & the management of test plans
Assess dealer repairs/Warranty claims for suitability and correct process
Support for Authorised Repairers, daily coaching with dealer staff to drive a better customer experience, high quality processing and AR efficiency/profitability
Daily collaboration within the Aftersales team to improve consistency in approach and the best quality of advice/support
Working daily with Authorised Repairer staff to ensure the correct and cost-effective warranty repairs take place

**The ideal experience for the Aftersales Technical Expert (EU):
Franchised Dealer/Authorised Repairer experience at Master Technician level
Understanding of failure mode detection techniques & analysis
Confident user of IT in particular Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
Industry recognised technician qualifications (BTEC ONC/HNC or an apprenticeship combined with relevant experience)
HV electrical professional qualifications BGI/GUV-I 8686 E (desirable but training can be given)
Full driving license is essential
German as 1st language, fluent English (other languages desirable but not essential)
Ability to plan, organise & control time efficiently & profitably
No visa or other restrictions for working in the UK or travelling in the European Union
Attention to detail is a must
Good team player and able to work on own initiative
Flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with good communication skills
Flexible working patterns to provide great customer service
