**About the role**
The Education Network is looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work within our partnership schools across the South Tyneside area. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone working towards a Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3), we want to hear from you. The successful applicant will need to understand the national curriculum and be able to deliver this to the highest level possible.
If this is something that interests you then we would love to hear from you if you meet the following:
- Have recent experience working within a school (within the last 2 years - college placement experience is fine)- Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent.- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children- Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities- Have a flexible and friendly approach- Be committed to providing engaging and exciting learning opportunities- Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to request one via ourselves.***
