**Role: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) / Key Stage One (KS1) Teaching Assistant** **Location: South Shields** **Start date: ASAP** **Hours: 8:30 till 15:30** A 'good' rated primary school in South Shields are looking for a passionate and engaging Teaching Assistant to work across EYFS and KS1 classes. Experience of working with children is desirable. The school: - Situated in South Shields with nearby links to the Metro - Ofsted rated 'good' - "children entering early years quickly settle and become confident learners" - A shared understanding of the school supports the headteacher's vision The position: - Supporting different classroom settings - Contribute to engaging activities for EYFS and KS1 learners - Work collaboratively with other members of staff - Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Delivering small group interventions Requirements: - Minimum Level 2 qualification - Safeguarding trained (support offered) - A DBS on the update service (support offered) - Minimum of 2 references **If you have any questions about the position please call.** All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
