We are seeking a motivated, dynamic healthcare support worker to join our busy team working within the Integrated Care Directorate and the Theatre Department.

This would be an ideal opportunity for staff looking to gain experience and knowledge in the acute oncology setting. You would become a valuable members of our multidisciplinary team providing essential direct patient care.

The post holder will work as an integral part of the clinical nursing team to support the ward areas and theatre. The post holder will be responsible for supporting clinical and non-clinical practices within the ward and Theatre environment.

Prepare patients for CT MRI US scans including cannulate

Prepare patients for scrub and assist in CVC (Hickman Line) insertion.

Prepare patients for and assist in IPC drainage insertions including scrub.

Prepare patients for and assist in US CT or MRI guided biopsies.

Manage stores, consumables, laundry and waste within Radiology

Perform basic patient observations when required.

The care and wellbeing of patients while in Radiology department.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
