Health Care Support Worker Cardiology

The Health Care Support Worker will actively participate as a member of the ward team and will be responsible for contributing towards the smooth and efficient running of the ward.
The post holder will assist with personal care of patients and will be responsible for ensuring beds and bed areas are clean and keeping the ward clean and tidy. The post holder will assist with maintaining ward stocks, keeping storerooms organised and tidy, keep clinical equipment clean and undertake other duties, including some aspects of clinical care as delegated by qualified staff.
Full training will be provided.
We want a keen motivated Band 2 Health Care Support Worker to join our team in delivering essential and specialist cardiology nursing care to our patients. We are an 18 bedded Unit comprising of a 10 bedded ward and an 8 bedded Coronary Care Unit. We also have a Pacing Theatre.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will work well within a team. The ability to cope in an acute setting is desirable, although support will be given. We are searching for nurses who share our values that:
