An exciting opportunity to join an international insurance business as a Financial Controls Analyst in their expanding Financial Control function supporting the implementation and on-going delivery of their Financial Controls Framework.Reporting into theHead of Financial Controls, you will play a critical role in the performance of testing of the operational effectiveness and design of key financial controls. You will provide SME advice to the business to assist with the improvement of existing controls aswell as encouraging the implementation of new controls. Following the procurement of a GRC tool, you will support its deployment, onboarding and maintenance. You will also support change and transformation activities across the business from an internal controlsperspective, as well as providing advice and guidance on process re-engineering.This role would be an ideal 1st time move for candidates from Big 4 practice with SOx experience. You will be a qualified accountant or Internal Auditor (ACA/ACCA/IIA) with a strongfinancial background. You will have a solid knowledge of end-to-end finance business processes. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to face off to leadership is essential.
