**Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker**

**About the Direct Payment Holder**

We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable Personal Assistant to support a vibrant and energetic young girl in Watford. She’s nearly 8 years old and has a chromosome microduplication, along with diagnoses of ASD and ADHD.

She is verbal, full of life, and thrives on interaction—whether at home or out exploring the community. If you’re someone who enjoys getting involved in fun, creative activities and can offer patient, consistent support, we’d love to hear from you

**Hours and rate of pay**

3 hours per week (flexible - for instance, 6 hours every other week). £18.02 per hour (funded).

**Location**

**Watford WD25**

**DBS/Checks**

Confirmation of DBS check

Right to Work and references will be needed.

**Training**

Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:

- Safeguarding Children
- Introduction to Paediatric first aid
- Health and Safety / Moving and handling

**What you would be doing**

The PA will support in accessing various activities in the community, such as:

- Arts and crafts
- Football
- Swimming (assistance with dressing may be required)
- Other outdoor and social activities

**Required skills and experience**

Outgoing, patient, and understanding

Enthusiastic about working with children

Flexible and adaptable to different activities and schedules

Experienced in working with young children, particularly those with ASD/ADHD
