**WATFORD MENCAP **are looking for **Personal Assistants** for our small “supported living” homes in Bushey and Rickmansworth.

It's no ordinary job and every day can be different. You will be supporting local people with learning disabilities in their homes. Most importantly it's about offering opportunities for people to experience things that many of us take for granted.

You will be based in one of our Supported Living projects but will be part of a team working across the service. You will provide personalised support to people, with a range of daily activities from housekeeping to going to the theatre; going on holidays; shopping and attending appointments.

We can offer part time, full time and casual contracts which cover shifts across the mornings, days, evening, weekends ( sleep-ins after training and induction.)

Ideally you're a driver to help get people you support out and about, but it's not essential. You will be supporting people in one of two sites with occasional cross cover. There are currently two sites one in Bushey and one in Mill End. With good links to bus and train travel. (Mill End a driver would be preferable as this is bus links only )

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as we offer full training, induction and shadowing to develop your skills, knowledge and confidence. You will need to be enthusiastic and a self-starter and you must share our values:

Staff wearing face masks and PPE as appropriate is now optional.

**Experience**:

- Support work: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
