Reporting to the COO, you will provide regular updates on project milestones, successes, and challenges. This individual will lead on the people transition to the new TOM and Operating system and ensure operational resiliency. The role will provide strongleadership, business direction and support to project workstreams. Working with other Project leads to optimise efficiency and implement solutions within budget & to agreed SLA's.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Direct line management for 14 individuals.
- Ensuring business services adhere to processes and procedures designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FSA rules and guidance.
- Maintain the first line of defence by operating risk controls assigned to you and your teams.
- Develops and recommends tactical and strategic plans for processing operations.
- Selects, trains, develops and leads an efficient and effective processing team.
- Use the training and competence scheme to maintain the appropriate knowledge, skills and expertise to carry out the role competently.
- To manage financial risk, audit and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all regulatory and Compliance requirements are demonstrated and attained.
- Ensure that all procedures are documented and regularly reviewed in line with company guidelines.
- Ensure that functions that you are responsible for are performed by individuals with the appropriate knowledge, skills and expertise and that competence is maintained and assessed.
- Create and maintain clear lines of responsibility.
- Ensures all backup and recovery and disaster recovery processes will meet or exceed business requirements.
- Establish, manage and develop the best possible teams, leading in line with Platform Securities guiding principles creating a unique and inclusive culture of honesty, transparency, trust and collaboration. Results orientation and client focused.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Manage the area function to ensure compliant processes, controls and full accountabilities programme

The Senior Operations Manager will posses extensive operations experience within a wealth management or wider financial services banking environment, with strong experience of leadership responsibility. You will have excellent FCA knowledge, transformationalor change experience and experience in managing transitions to new systems / processes. You will understand the key drivers of client experience within an institutional environment and be an excellent communicator at all levels.
