Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Estimator, located in the West Midlands and offering work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for construction projects, analysing project plans and specifications, collaborating with architects and contractors, and managing bid proposals. The role includes overseeing cost analysis and performing value engineering assessments. Additionally, managing timelines, budgets, and project resources with precision will be a significant part of the day-to-day tasks.

Required experience

  • Strong background in preparing cost estimates for a main / principal contractor.
  • Proficiency in managing bid proposals and conducting cost analysis
  • Excellent skills in collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Experience in value engineering assessments and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technology in construction estimating
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a hybrid work environment
