Events Coordinator

**37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday**
**Hybrid - working 2 days a week in our Telford (TF3) or Stratford (CV37) office and the rest of the week will be working from home, you will need to live within a commutable area to either our Telford or Stratford office.**

We’re looking for an Events Coordinator to coordinate the events programme, working as part of the Corporate Marketing team, you will be responsible for the coordination of strategic external and internal events.
Your aim will be to support with the successful delivery of high-impact events that achieve great results, positive feedback and a direct contribution to Reconomy’s corporate and marketing objectives. You will be working with a number of stakeholders across the business as well as liaising with third-parties.
Some of the main responsibilities are:
- Working with the Events Manager to deliver high-impact activity and demonstrable results.
- Working with teams across the business to gather input and requirements as well as establish pre-event tasks and post-event follow-up.
- Supporting internal communications activity through headline internal events, i.e. the annual conference, summer parties and key ‘kick-off’ sessions.
- Ensuring all events information across digital sites and working with the wider marketing team to ensure pre-event campaigns and event content are promoted with high impact.
- Support with the creation of events marketing collateral including presentations, merchandise and on-stand promotions, supported by the in-house Group design team.
- Assist in the creation of all divisional events, including exhibitions, webinars and our own schedule of managed key customer workshops/seminars.
- Analyse our key markets to make pro-active suggestions on events that will support Reconomy’s corporate and marketing growth objectives.
- Work closely with third-parties, including events organisers, to achieve successful preparation and delivery of events.
- Build strong relationships with relevant media, trade associations and other stakeholders to achieve a thought-leadership position in target territories through our events.
What we need from you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent marketing qualification.
- Experience of the events industry or within a B2B professional services environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite particularly PowerPoint to own the impact maximisation of presentation slides.
- Excellent attention to detail, works well under pressure and thrives in this type of environment.
- A strong focus on teamwork, confident in making suggestions and with a keen attitude to process improvements.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Understanding of sustainability, circular economy and ESG principles is beneficial.
- A full UK driving licence to be able to travel when required.
