Marketing Coordinator

About the Role.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday with the occasional day at a weekend.
We're looking for a creative, passionate and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our wonderful team at Avon Estates. This exciting role offers the chance to work across all areas of the business, managing social media platforms, developing engaging email and video content, delivering exciting campaigns, whilst also working across both digital and print channels.
From working with our holiday parks, to marketing our impressive Riverside Venue Bar and Restaurant and schedule of varied events, to collaborating with our holiday home and residential sales teams, every day is different and offers new opportunities to learn, grow and make a real impact across our business.
You'll also collaborate with our Marketing Manager, Events Coordinator, internal teams and external partners to ensure our brand stands out and our campaigns deliver results.
About You
We're looking for someone with marketing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects. You'll be confident in building relationships, proactive in your approach, and passionate about delivering creative marketing that makes an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of our social media accounts, organic content schedules, reporting on results and answering queries across our various business areas.
- Writing blog articles on a monthly basis, covering the various business areas as required.
- Adhering to the marketing plan, promoting the planned themes and campaigns throughout the year for all business areas.
- Developing content and building email marketing campaigns for all business areas and scheduling communications to our leads, customers and owner base, ensuring GDPR guidelines are adhered to. Monitoring and reporting on results.
- Developing video content and reels across the multiple areas of the business, to be promoted across social media.
- Supporting the Marketing Manager on photography and video shoots as and when required.
- Content and design of internal posters, homes for sale posters, events, notices and updates, across all business areas as required.
- Liaising with the Events Coordinator to market and promote our extensive events calendar via email, social media, listings, third party sites, signage and advertising.
- Design of signage required across our parks, from creation through to print.
- Regular liaison with our external marketing agency/s and printing suppliers.
- Designing printed marketing collateral for all areas of the business, working with suppliers for quotes, print and delivery.
- Working with various departments and the Marketing Manager to create and promote seasonal campaigns for promotions across the various business areas.
- Content management of the company websites using Wordpress.
- Adhering to brand guidelines for printed and digital collateral and supporting the Marketing Manager to ensure these are followed throughout the business departments.
- Management and updating of referral websites and keeping imagery and park / holiday homes for sale up to date.
- Competitor awareness.
- Supporting the Marketing Manager to maintain good communication throughout the company departments.
- Occasional travel to visit other parks, event attendance, open days etc.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required..
Qualification/ Experience:
- Previous experience in a Marketing role required.
- Marketing qualification preferable.
- Proficient using a PC and Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel.
- Experience of managing social media platforms.
- Experience of using a CRM system, (preferably HubSpot).
- Experience using WordPress.
- Experience of creating reels/videos and using Cap Cut to edit these.
- Experience of using Canva.
- Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop, desirable but not essential.
- Experience of Paid Social and Paid Search desirable but not essential.
