This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the dynamic and creative Suffolk Learning Disability & Autism (LD & A) Specialist Service. Admin is a most valued part of the service and integral to a wider group of warm and welcoming 'family' of staff and managers who have been developing the service over the past 2 years and were pleased to recently receive a rating of GOOD by the CQC. The service covers across Suffolk with 3 main community bases in Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds. The admin team is led and supported by a Business Support Manager.
**Main duties of the job**:
The role of the Senior Administrator is to provide management to local administration team and direct administrative support to the local community teams and team managers. The role includes, general administration duties; data collection and maintenance data dashboards and spreadsheets; procurement orders for clinical teams; planning and minuting of meetings; HR recording and maintenance of personal files; exciting project opportunities; line management supervision to junior administration staff.

- Pitman/RSA III Typing/word processing or equivalent at advanced level
- NVQ3 Business Admin
- or willingness to work toward
- NVQ2 Customer services or working toward

- Understanding and experience in a wide range of secretarial procedures and systems at an advanced level
- Experience of working under pressure/on own initiative without supervision
- Ability to work with a senior level of staff at PA level, across a large organisation
- Experience of management of staff/staff appraisals
