We have an exciting opportunity for a Referral Hub Administrator to join our established and friendly Advocacy team

Your role will be a homebased position meaning you can work flexibly from home with access to an office hub when you need it. You will work full time, 35 hours per week on a permanent contract with a salary of £19,432.27 to £21,703.54 (£22,078.37 to £24,349.64 inclusive of London Weighting). What will I be doing?

Ensure that all referrals are logged / uploaded to case management system and allocated to and advocate or added to locality waiting lists for allocation by the Locality Team Leader.

Support the service’s data management by collecting and recording all referral data, seeking missing information from individuals/referrers

Provide individuals/referrers with first response information relating to their concern, ensuring they get the right advocacy support; or signpost to other agencies if better placed to provide specialist advice.

Provide information, guidance and onward referral signposting service to clients who do not meet the criteria for advocacy services.

Appropriate I direct clients to self-help materials or refer to peer/citizen advocacy groups.

Work proactively and collaboratively with our group and volunteer network to record activities

Who I am?

Have a good understanding of advocacy practice and key laws, in order to answer non-complex questions around rights under the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and Care Act.

Good standard of secondary education with GCSE in Maths and English, with ability to write clear and concise English and competent in numeracy is essential.

Have experience of coordinating activity between teams to support effective working.

Ability to support clients who may have a range of particular communication and other needs.

Ability to research options to ensure clients can make an informed choice.
