**Purpose of role**

To assist in delivering of business marketing activity to promote London and London & Partners, supporting the foreign direct investment (FDI) and convention bureau (CVB) teams to generate GVA and income.

Working with the Business Marketing Manager and wider business marketing team, on curating and creating content for our business channels via London & Partners’ extensive networks including partners, stakeholders and business influencers. Updating and refreshing PowerPoint presentations and raising design tickets and purchase orders for marketing activity.

To collaborate with internal and external contacts to ensure marketing outputs aligns to wider organisational plans, is effective, on brand and high quality.

**Key Tasks**
- Work closely with the wider team to assist in creation of content and distribute content that is informed by audience insight and meets business needs via owned, earned, paid and partner channels
- Provide professional and efficient marketing support for all business activities, events and trade shows, including producing the marketing around each event such as messaging, copywriting, collateral production and branding.
- Assist in supporting marketing activity, for example:

- Day-to-day use of business social media channels and WhatsApp, working with Social Media Lead to understand audience and channel goals.
- Convention bureau and Associations marketing support, to generate trade show attendance and sales leads.
- Be the point person for international teams and running marketing for overseas business missions.
- Work on supporting one of London’s tech sectors and liaise with the sector team to provide always on sector support.
- Happy to be hands on and get things done, for example working with our database, list management, partner research etc.
- Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager

**You’ll have/bring**
- Interest in developing business marketing and communication skills across multiple audiences, markets, channels and media with a focus on demonstrable results
- Committed to continuous learning and evolving with industry best practice
- Desire to work in an agile, collaborative marketing environment and as part of diverse project teams
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with CRM systems e.g. Salesforce is desirable
- Competence with marketing performance monitoring tools such as Google Analytics, Socialbakers and Sprout is desirable. Willingness to develop these skills is essential

The salary for this role has been approved as advertised in line with our pay structure. We will not negotiate or vary this figure upon offer or appointment.
