Learning Experience Designer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced learning design professional to join us as a Learning Experience Designer. Liaising directly with our clients to ascertain their requirements and ideas for the look and feel of their learning programmes.

You will also be working with our internal production team to design fully blended learning experience programmes that deliver performance and behavioural change you will manage these relationships through to the projects completion. Initially this role will focus on our project with the Fire Service College, updating and digitising their training causes before late on diversifying into other sectors, with this in mind we are looking for someone who would be willing and able to travel to the college in Moreton in Marsh twice a month and also go into the Beighton office up to 4 times a year (all fully expensed)

You will work within a friendly and knowledgeable team and own the development projects from end to end and have the opportunity to create individual, bespoke learning platforms whilst at the same time developing invaluable skills and forging a career within Capita.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Establish a good rapport and consultative relationship with clients and understand their business, their requirements, and the bigger picture.
- Define and articulate a blended programme or curriculum design to your client and to the internal production team.
- Confidently collaborate with SMEs, or research independently, to content map and script solutions across blended modalities, working to qualification standards if appropriate.
- Work in collaboration with colleagues from the media production, technical and project management disciplines to deliver solutions that meet the client's brief and are achievable within time, technology, and budget.
- Proactively research and champion the latest and emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
- Support proposal writing and pitch persuasively and engagingly to clients in a sales context.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Significant experience of blended learning design across a range of industries and modalities including ILT, digital, video, animation curation, toolkits, social/peer-based experiences.
- Proven ability to understand and structure complex learning programmes.
- Thorough understanding of learning and behavioural change theories and models.
- Creative, human-centred design thinking combined with attention to detail.
- Demonstrable ability to educate, negotiate, and influence with all levels of stakeholders to produce learning outcomes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt, flex, and change directions given project and team circumstances, understanding the ever-changing world of business.
- An able leader and good motivator - can confidently lead the design of a multi-layered blended programme.
- Good commercial awareness, able to manage the balance between creativity and scope to deliver the best outcomes for our clients
