London, United Kingdom DMGT Full time

**Deputy Editor Money Mail**:
The Daily Mail is recruiting a Deputy Editor for its award-winning personal finance section Money Mail.

Applicants should have a background in breaking hard-hitting news stories and must show a flair for both investigative journalism and in-depth features packed with colour.

You must be highly-motivated, with a sharp news sense. Personal finance experience is not necessarily essential but you must have a head for figures and be able to talk to our readers to bring their stories to life.

Editing experience is vital as you will be in charge of running the department in the editor's absence.

In addition to commissioning articles and editing copy, this involves writing headlines, working with the design department to lay out pages and writing columns.

Money Mail is known for its campaigning style and has a long track record of fighting the consumer's corner, prompting big businesses and ministers to improve policies and practices. You will play a central role in helping to drive these campaigns forward.

As well as writing for the weekly money section, your role will involve contributing to paper's daily news coverage and coming up with front-page splashes on a regular basis.
