**About the Service Delivery Team**

We have a market leading reputation for providing excellent products and service to our broker customers. The Service Delivery team comprises five business functions across Operations encompassing four sites and approx. 300 people across the UK.

**Service Delivery Team Leader**

As Team Leader, you will drive the performance of your team to exceed the key measures set across a balanced business scorecard including GWP, Conversation and Quality. You will create a supportive and high performing environment for those that you leadthrough coaching, training and feedback ensuring that your team are clear on their role accountabilities.
You will lead a team of underwriters, providing support to our Brokers Customers. These teams can be split across our UK locations. You will also be part of your department leadership team working closely with the other team leaders to achieve the results desiredby the business.

The team play a critical role in the UK operating model and are responsible for servicing both new and existing customers within a structured parameter.

They work closely with the wider central and regional teams to deliver superb service to our broker partners in line with the agreed sales strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Achieve and strive to exceed all performance targets set for the team. Key measures include service, GWP, conversion, quality and productivity.
- Develop and maintain close, effective relationships with key stakeholders including back office, regional underwriters and regional managers
- Support the technical development and knowledge within your team
- Look for ways to improve the effectiveness of the team, ensuring that a culture of first time resolution is prevalent
- Lead and coach your team to ensure their broker and customer interactions are continually developed in line with the Hiscox sales coaching framework
- Support and develop team members to ensure strong performers are stretched and appropriate action is taken against underperformance
- Deliver a structured and tailored induction process for new joiners to the team
- Strategic input into the running of the Underwriting teams through being a member of the Underwriting Leadership Team
