**The role**

Our **Maintenance Assistants**help to keep facilities in good operating condition to aid smooth running of the hotels. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is part of a team based at Holiday Inn Chester South

**Maintenance Assistant**responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the management of all maintenance requirement across the hotel, including infrastructure, repairs and renovations
- Conducting **planned preventative maintenance** and **systematic testing** of rooms and electrical equipment, including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating
- Ensuring the safety and smooth operation of our hotels to guarantee an exceptional guest experience
- Responding to **maintenance emergencies**

**What you’ll bring to the team**

Due to spending a lot of time on your feet and unloading heavy deliveries you will need a good physical fitness. Efficiency in fast-paced environment and strong communication skills are key. You will be able to follow instructions and be adaptable to meet the needs of both company and guests.
