**The Role: Project Coordinator/ Project Manager**
**Purpose**:
As an Information Security Project Coordinator within ABP you will be responsible for driving forward the delivery of technical Information Security focussed projects to achieve an effective business outcome. Ensuring successful delivery within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
**Accountabilities**:
- To deliver assigned projects to agreed time, cost and quality in a flexible and appropriate manner
- Contribute to business case development working with IT management in the planning and cost elements of the business case.
- Detailed planning and execution of Information Security focussed IT projects. Identify the mix of expertise, knowledge, and capabilities required to achieve the project purpose
- Discuss quality expectations with stakeholders and agree acceptance criteria
- Engage in the negotiation and liaison with project specific vendors.
- Change control management
- Monitor and report performance, resource usage and expenditure against plan
- Evaluate risk likelihood and impact and prioritize them for analysis and response planning.
- Financial management of assigned projects. Manage expenditure and monitor actual spend against financial targets
- Project closure including the capture of lessons learned.
- Stay up to date with emerging techniques and technologies
**Essential**:
- Experience of delivering Information Security projects, or possessing a strong desire to focus within the security field.
- Track record of delivering technology projects to scope, time and budget.
- The ability to cope with uncertainty, conflict and change. You are flexible, persistent and have well developed creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, varying your approach to meet the needs of different stakeholders and situations.
- Track record of the production of accurate and concise project deliverables, structured in an appropriate business format.
- Track record of use and promotion of formal methodology and tools within project teams
- Ability to coordinate remote project teams and 3rdparty delivery
- Supplier management skills with a strong commercial acumen
- Experience of working in a highly dynamic environment, managing projects on short notice and with high priority.
- Possess a firm belief in the values of customer service and ABP’s core values of openness and honesty, teamwork and respect, along with the ambition to make a difference and exceed expectations.
- Willingness to travel around the Group as required for specific projects and generally.
**Desirable**:
- Experience of working in any one of the functional areas used within ABP
- Project Management qualifications e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, PRINCE2Agile, AgilePM
