The Assistant Risk and Control Officer, reporting to the Chief Risk officer of CASA UK is part of the Risk and Control division of CASA London Branch (CASA UK).

In particular, this role encompasses:

- The monitoring of control declarations carried out by each business unit of CASA UK and the realisation of independent controls by the risk department;
- The monitoring of the Financial Risks within CASA London Branch’s activities.

The Assistant Risk and Control Officer also has contacts with the Compliance and Financial Security divisions of CA-CIB LB and CASA HO in relation with all matters of compliance delivered to CASA London Branch

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Risk and Control Officer:

- Within the Permanent Control and Operational Risk framework of CASA UK activities, performs the following tasks:

- Support the 1st “Line of Defence” (i.e. FO and support functions of the Branch) with designing, implementing and monitoring a complete set of controls (level 1 controls);
- Carry out independent level 2 controls in accordance with the pre-defined annual control plan and monitor the action plans relating to the identified weaknesses;
- Formalise incident forms for any operational incident impacting the branch, perform an appropriate follow-up of action plans and log these operational incidents in the Group’s database;
- Analyse daily alerts arising from the atypical transaction monitoring tool;
- Participate in the preparation of CASA UK Risk Committees and reports for management.
- Within the Financial Risk Management framework:

- Participate to the monitoring of the financial risk indicators on both ALM activities (Global Interest Rate gaps, FX positions, Liquidity gaps, Liquidity stresses, etc.) and Treasury activities (Market Risk indicators).

- Risks and Controls team of the Group Financial Management Steering division;
- Other departments of CASA UK i.e. Front Office, Back & Middle Office, Finance;
- Compliance & Financial Security teams of Crédit Agricole in London and Paris.

- Internal Audit.

Niveau d'étude minimum

Bac + 3 / L3

Formation / Spécialisation
- Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Some experience of working in a banking organisation would be beneficial
