In our Community Support Worker (Outreach) - Learning Disability & Mental Health role, you’ll be providing a comprehensive range of support services to customers with profound and enduring Mental Health diagnoses or Learning Disabilities.
**Location**: Hybrid, with travel across Birmingham
**Salary**:Up to £24,570 per year
**Contract**: Permanent
**Your week**: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, with a 30 minutes break
**Snapshot of your role**
This is what your day will look like as our Community Support Worker (Outreach) - Learning Disability & Mental Health:
- Work with customers with profound and enduring learning disabilities and mental health difficulties, with a mix of team and lone working.
- Maintain and respect all peoples’ choices, privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and independence, treating them as individuals.
- Act as key worker for individuals, writing and maintaining risk assessments and support plans where required.
- Promote health & safety, safeguarding and wellbeing for self and others at all times.
**Your toolkit for success**
To thrive in our Community Support Worker (Outreach) - Learning Disability & Mental Health role, you’ll need:
- The knowledge and understanding of different learning disabilities and mental health.
- A good understanding of Safeguarding.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of supporting and working with individuals with enduring and profound learning disabilities and mental health.
**Please note that having a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role to visit our customers.**
