We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Safeguarding Officer to take a key position in our pastoral team.

This is a diverse role that offers the opportunity to make a demonstrable difference to the young people in our School community.

Working as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), you will support our DSL with active casework, meticulous record keeping, trend tracking, and recommendations for improvement. With experience of working in a similar or related role, you’ll have knowledge of safeguarding process and regulation, and understand how to work confidently and effectively work with outside agencies involved in the safeguarding of young people.

Highly literate with strong IT capability, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a working style that can flex to meet the needs of different individuals, groups and organisations. You’ll be able to demonstrate resilience, persistence, and sensitivity, coupled with professionalism and proactivity.

The normal working hours for this post will be Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:00, term-time only plus 10 days.
