**Responsibilities**:
As a member of our Front of House team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have a fantastic time from the moment they step through our doors. Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and positive attitude.

Taking orders and serving our delicious cocktails, wines, and snacks.

Providing knowledgeable recommendations on our menu offerings.

Engaging with customers to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately.

Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Adhering to health and safety standards and protocols.

**Training and Development**:
At The Shambles, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and providing comprehensive training to enhance their skills and knowledge. As a part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to:
Receive specialized training in wine, cocktail preparation, and coffee service.

Learn about our curated selection of wines and gain insights into different regions, grapes and styles.

Expand your knowledge of our signature cocktails and master the techniques behind creating unique and delicious drinks.

Develop your understanding of customer service and hospitality best practices to deliver exceptional experiences.

Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to stay up to date with industry trends and enhance your professional development.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:
Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role is essential but we do value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

Attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Flexibility in working various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Knowledge or interest in cocktails, wines and spirits.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
