The CRT will actively promote the work of the Community Resuscitation team and will play a major role in the promotion of the LAS NHS Trust with external agencies. Post holders will be involved in seeking out new work, negotiating contracts, arranging and budgeting for new courses. They will plan, organise, implement and monitor the training delivered by the team.

Lead in the clinical/technical and professional development of staff and volunteers whilst promoting best practice across the Service and public sector, to improve high standards of patient care.
Competent in the use of available PC software to prepare and deliver the full range of training and education sessions.
Using a variety of presentational aids to deliver all clinical, technical and professional training courses to various audiences both internal and external including groups in excess of 30 people.
Conduct training sessions in a range of non-classroom settings (e.g. commercial companies, sports centres, community centres) to ensure that students are able to manage a range of simulate incidents/situations, and to ensure that established students are updated in order to effectively operate new guidelines as required.

You will have a relatively high degree of autonomy to manage your own workload, and will be able to enjoy involvement within a wide range of activities, with the opportunity to lead on a specific portfolio of work.

Applicants should familiarise themselves with the new NHS pay progression system introduced from 1 April 2019 as well as the ‘NHS pay deal’ regarding moves from Annex 5 (previously Annex E) to section 2 unsocial hours provision when considering new posts in the NHS.
