Hours of work - 37 - 8.30-5pm Mon to Thur and 8.30-4.30 Fridays

Duties of the role
- If homelessness cannot be prevented arrange suitable temporary accommodation for service users and provide ongoing support and oversight until alternative suitable accommodation can be secured This will involve:

- Being part of the team duty rota
- Assessing clients in the town centre office - Entering data onto the CDP electronic record Any specific skills/requirements that the manager would like to see on CVs - Experience of undertaking housing act assessments - we are ideally looking for someone with 2 years’ experience who does not need training
- Knowledge of the legislative, guidance and policy framework re: housing assessments - Experience of managing a busy and varied caseload
- Experience of working with complex service users in a multi-agency setting and ability to work collaboratively with partners

There will be an opportunity for blended working but 2-3 days per week will need to be spent in the office with the ability to undertake face to face assessments and the remaining days at home managing calls/case recording

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: £13.92 per hour
