**OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
The main purpose of the Commercial Sales Representative position is to increase sales and service customer requirements for Ultra Distributors.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Responsibilities include:
- Develop new customer accounts, increase sales, and achieve sales targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact within Ultra for customer sales support and maintain excellent customer service.
- Develop new business and own-brand products in the Northern Ireland, ROI, and Scotland markets.
- Assist with the development of new products tailored to these markets.
- Provide first-class customer service and after-sales support to all Ultra customers.
- Work closely with the General Manager to fulfil daily sales requirements.
**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience in selling building materials.
- Experience in developing new customer accounts.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.
**PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS**
- All duties and tasks must be performed efficiently and accurately, resulting in excellent service provision. Metrics include:
- Achievement of sales targets.
- Completing Daily Sales Records (DSRs).
- Customer retention and feedback.
- Feedback from colleagues and customers.
**RELATING TO PEOPLE INTERNALLY**
- Close working relationship with the General Manager, colleagues, and SIG Ireland companies.
- Collaborate with contracted drivers and couriers.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues in other SIG subsidiaries.
**RELATING TO PEOPLE EXTERNALLY**
- Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring all customers receive the best possible service.
**PROBLEM SOLVING/OPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATION**
- Proactively anticipate customer issues and address them swiftly.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Commitment to best practice within the organisation, with a strong focus on Customer Service and Health & Safety.
- Demonstrate flexibility, agility, and passion for the role.
- Contribute positively to the HHI Commitment Culture and make a tangible impact when joining the team.
