We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Pastoral Leader to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy starting as soon as possible.

Main purpose of the job:

- To lead students in making the choice to learn and excel, removing barriers to learning through strategic planning and intervention. To be responsible for embedded implementation and routines of the school’s behaviour policy.
- To take responsibility for developing positive links between home and school, working closely with parents/carers. To work collaboratively with all school staff and external support agencies in order to support student wellbeing.
- To monitor attendance, behaviour and the progress made by each student in their year groups and manage interventions.
- To take a lead role in the supervision of the school, supporting all staff in maintaining a positive learning environment with high expectations, including out of lesson supervision/duties, ‘on call’, detention, other strategic support systems and strategic behaviour interventions.
