A rare opportunity for an experienced food service sales professional to join the UK division of a multi-billion dollar international packaging supplier who can offer career growth opportunities. **BASIC SALARY**: £35,000 - £40,000 **BENEFITS**: - 20% Annual Bonus - Company Car - Contributory Pension - Life Assurance - Mobile **LOCATION**: Slough **COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS**: Oxford, Watford, Croydon, Reading, Dartford, Dagenham, Gatwick **JOB DESCRIPTION**: Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager - International Packaging Supplier As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director and you will be responsible for the retention of existing business, from small family owned distributors to large local and regional distributors as well as developing newbusiness opportunities within your region. 80% of the job role will be spent growing existing business and 20% of the job role will be working on new business opportunities. You will be an integral part of the sales team and will play a pivotal role as wellas having influence on the growth of the UK market **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager - International Packaging Supplier - To achieve set monthly targets as determined by the company. - Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and other activity. - Provide accurate detailed monthly sales and SWOT reports to identify areas of opportunity and areas of threat to the business. - Be prepared to provide feedback on aspects of sales and marketing activity when requested. - Maintain a good level of knowledge of Disposables in the Food Service Sector to ensure we remain competitive in the territories we operate. - Assist with other internal departments (e.g. marketing, operations) as required to ensure that customer issues are resolved to their satisfaction. - Develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels of the organisation internally and externally. - Provide analysis on new or emerging markets within our sector. - Maintain regular contact with customers to optimise the selling potential and retain our existing customer portfolio. - Attend Trade Shows that the company require you to. **PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager - International Packaging Supplier We are interested in hearing from career minded experienced sales professionals with ideally a background in Food Service Packaging / Catering disposable or knowledge of the catering and hospitality industry. Whilst we would prefer a field sales professional, we will also consider Internal Sales professionals who are looking for there first step into field sales. Any knowledge of managing distributors would be beneficial, however the quality of the person is the most important criteria. Additionally you will: - Have a demonstrable track record of success and be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. - Have good attention to detail and be very much a strategic and analytical thinker. - Be a natural forward planner who critically assesses your own performance. - Be credible and comfortable in dealing with all levels - Be a "go-getter", energetic and determined to succeed with an entrepreneurial streak. - Be a strong negotiator, with excellent people management skills, be ambitious and results orientated.
