**Interim Digital Channel Manager (Social & Content)**

**Term**:6 months

**Rate**:Up to £290 per day

**Location**: Central London - 1 day per week for meetings. The rest is up to you.

**Engagement type**: Outside IR35 contract

Your remit is to manage the Social Media & upload, refresh, keeping organised and adapt a news site full of external communications and PR messages so the UK media is able to draw relevant news worthy information from it. Managing the corporate side of awebsite and Social Media Channels which exist to share PR stories and public interest pieces picked up and run with by UK media.

The business itself is one you’ve probably never heard of, as they operate in the shadows behind a bunch of national franchises you will know. They’re kind of a big deal and represent the interests of an entire industry crucial to UK travel.

Your role will be r esponsible for the strategic development, design and ongoing maintenance of the website, corporate social media and the intranet, All the creation of content is handled by other teams. You will be organising resources and getting thenecessary assets together from PR, Content and Copywriting teams, graphic design and photography. Making sure everything is ready to go and published over Social or the direct website.

In addition to the corporate site, some of the news and public interest stories are also adapted for use over Social Media channels. For example recent storms needed content to be adapted for use over social channels too. This will also be something you’llbe handling and overseeing.

There’s some need to be hands-on with digital data. This will cover both social listening tools and standard web analytics reporting

This is expected to be just a 6 month engagement to cover a specific set of projects coming up. So has been judged appropriate to be an outside IR35 engagement.

**What we’re looking for from you**
- Good knowledge of Digital channel management across Web & Social Media
- working with CMS’, uploading and managing assets. Able to ensure a good quality experience to users
- Ideally some experience working with public sector bodies handling their websites or equilivant corporate websites - Large scale sites are prefered
- Experience in social media, posting and managing content on behalf of an organisation as well as reporting
- Knowledge of web data, looking at journeys and site performance. Identifying opportunities for improvement
