Digital Creative Producer

Are you an experienced video production professional looking to develop your career?

A Digital Creative Producer plays an important role in delivering compelling video and photography for various digital communication channels at Wessex Water including website, YouTube, social media and intranet.

Within an in-house digital team, you will coordinate delivery of projects to a high standard from providing creative input at the planning stage through to ensuring live shoots and post-production activities are run successfully.

We're looking for a person who is confident, enthusiastic and thrives on working with people to create engaging content.

The role is based in our head office in Bath and will also require you to travel around the Wessex Water region, which covers Bristol, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Bridgwater and everything in between.

Responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating and prioritising multiple projects to ensure they’re delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborating with the Digital Creative Lead on production workflows.
- Communicating effectively with people to explain technical, creative and production parameters based on requests.
- Creating concise and engaging project briefs that meet communication objectives.
- Setting up production equipment including cameras, lighting, microphones and other audio recording equipment.
- Confidently presenting a range of topics to camera both in studio and on location.
- Providing ideas to improve processes including new production techniques.
- Managing our YouTube content and touchpoints with other digital channels.
- Supporting the management and maintenance of edit suite production facilities.

**What are the requirements?**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- A minimum of three years’ experience working as a video producer (or similar) role at a production company, in-house team or agency.
- A proven ability to lead on a variety of projects and see them through from start to finish.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks to different deadlines.
- A confidence to work with people and develop ideas with creativity and flexibility.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, communicating updates with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- An in-depth and up-to-date understanding of video and audio production processes.
- A passion for video and audio with a willingness to learn, adapt and improve to ensure the smooth running of the video production service.
- Experience operating a range of video and still cameras in studio and on location, including interviewing, presenting, lighting and sound recording.
- A working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite and other video editing software (desirable).
