**Head of Commercial | Fresh | South Coast**
Salary ~£80-100k DOE

**About Our Client**
Our client is a leading grower of a variety of crops which they supply to the major retailers and supermarkets. They are family owned and have invested in the latest technology to deliver the best products to their customers. The team are all passionate about the products that they grow and sell. They grow a variety of crops and supply seasonal products as well as staples throughout the year. They have strong company values and are focused on growing the business further under their vision. They are growing fast and have nearly doubled the size of the business in the past 2-3 years. They have plans to double the size of the business again over the next five years and are showing no signs of slowing down.

**About the Role**
You will use your experience to manage key relationships with retailers and lead the sales and NPD teams to deliver results. Forming part of the SLT will form a key aspect of this role. You will work closely with the MD and FD to align the business with customers and be the commercial voice for the business. Leading a team of ~18 across the sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering sales growth, maintaining relationships with customers and hitting margin targets with regards to costing and pricing. Whilst the business has long-standing relationships with key retailers, you will also be able to target new customers to deliver further growth. You will create commercial strategies and form partnership JBP's with customers.

**Minimum Requirements**
At a minimum, you will need to have experience managing and delivering growth with the retailers and be capable of leading and inspiring a sales and NPD team. You will have an entrepreneurial style and will be able to work collaboratively with other stakeholders within the business as well as the SLT. Culture fit for the team and business is all-important.
