Head of Commercial Strategy
. This is a permanent role with international scope.
As
Head of Commercial Strategy
, you will act as the right-hand to the Commercial Director, playing a pivotal role in setting, implementing, and embedding global commercial standards across all markets. You'll be the "eyes and ears" of the commercial function, driving alignment, consistency, and best practice across sales operations, key account management, and retail execution.
This role requires a strategic operator who can balance structure with entrepreneurial flair, someone who can translate commercial vision into actionable frameworks that enable the business to scale efficiently while continuing to deliver exceptional brand experiences for retail partners and consumers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Commercial Director to define and implement global commercial excellence standards across all regions.
- Drive consistency in sales processes, retail execution, and customer engagement, ensuring best-in-class delivery for key retail partners.
- Establish commercial KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics to monitor and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure alignment of commercial goals.
- Develop and roll out tools, training, and resources to elevate the capability and performance of global sales teams.
- Support new market launches and strategic initiatives, ensuring commercial scalability and operational excellence.
- Serve as a key conduit between the commercial team and the wider business, ensuring insights and feedback are captured and acted upon.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and accountability across all commercial functions.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior commercial, sales operations, or commercial excellence role within an international consumer goods environment.
- Strong understanding of global retail landscapes and customer dynamics.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
- Confident influencing at senior level, with the ability to lead through collaboration and credibility.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving performance and consistency in high-growth environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and commercially ambitious culture.
