**About the role**:
Superscript is on the lookout for an Underwriting Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting the underwriting team through a variety of administrative tasks that underpin the underwriting process.

**What you'll get up to**:

- Input and update information in our underwriting system, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
- Serve as a point of contact for the wider team, relaying information between underwriters and external stakeholders where necessary
- Ensure that all underwriting activities adhere to company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on underwriting activities, assisting in the analysis of data to identity trends and areas for improvement
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge of underwriting processes and insurance products
- Provide general support to the underwriting team as needed

**About you**:

- 1-3 years experience in an insurance related support role, ideally within underwriting or broking
- Adept in technology and experience with underwriting software and databases
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
- A team player that enjoys collaborating in a cross-functional setting
- Comfortable dealing with multiple items at any one time
- Problem solving capabilities and using own initiative in doing so
- Able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ideally Cert CII qualified, or keen to progress
