Tender Specialist
Italy - Milan / Cambridge UK
(6-month contract)
The role
You will be responsible for the administration of the full tender process, reviewing tender requirements, assisting with quotations, preparing submission documentation, and ensuring each proposal is reviewed and approved before submission.
As an Italian speaking Tender Specialist, you will be a vital part of our Commercial Operations Team. You will work closely with our sales, service, finance and contracts/legal functions across EMEA and get involved in some truly exciting projects involving improving human health.

Why you
You will be a strong administrator with experience in tender coordination and be fluent in business Italian and English. You will work on multiple tenders at any one time and thrive at meeting business critical deadlines in our fast-paced environment. You will have excellent attention to details and good communication skills as well as a collaborative style. You may have worked in life sciences or clinical diagnostics in a similar role.
You will have a strong administrative background, experience working within tender management and knowledge of Italian public procurement.

Key responsibilities include
- Undertake and complete tender admin documents including RFQ, PQQ.
- Submit documents via Italian tender portals. MEPA, SINTEL etc
- Manage clarification questions/responses
- Maintain a library of frequently used documents and standard responses
- Liaise with colleagues to gather supportive data and works information
- Manage the approval process before the tender is submitted
- Create and collate information as required including CVs, technical information, statistics and presentation slides
- Create production of final documents
- Review all tender documentation prior to submission, checking for errors/completeness
