The Sherlock Holmes Museum is seeking a part-time Visitor Service Assistant to join the team in the home of London's most iconic character.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers and sell products
- Maintain a clean and organised shop floor
- Restock and replenish shelves
- Ensure the smooth operation of the shop
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Lead short tours and talks
- Greet all visitors with confidence, warmth, and knowledge

**Shift hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, or 11:45 AM - 6:00 PM. A minimum of 3-4 days per week is required.**

The dress code for women includes a Victorian dress and apron (provided by the museum), while men will wear a waistcoat, tie, shirt, and a Victorian police uniform.

Qualifications:

- Strong guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience in hospitality or similar roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Knowledge of best practices in visitor services
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude towards collaboration

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
