Teaching Assistant Level 2/3 + MDSA

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support in our well-established Early Years Foundation setting.
- enjoy working with children, be calm, patient and nurturing;
have elevated expectations of children’s achievement;
be innovative; creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities;
have excellent behaviour management skills;
understand SEN;
contribute towards raising levels of achievement to ‘Outstanding’
support our creative curriculum
work in partnership with the staff and with our wider community.
Early Years experience desirable.
This is a permanent position. 23.75 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 6.25 hours per week as a MDSA, term time only. This role is graded at Single Status Grade 4.
Chantry Community Primary School is a small school with a community feel, situated in Bexhill-on-Sea. At Chantry we are passionate about providing high quality teaching and learning through our creative curriculum. We are a school where everyone works hard to support children’s emotional development as well as their academic learning.
